Q: How much do you charge?

A: My standard hourly rate is $250. In most cases, I receive a retainer upfront of between $1500 and $2500, depending on the complexity of the matter. The simplest cases, where there are no children involved, can sometimes be resolved for under $1500. Cases with children or substantial marital property can be more costly. When we meet, I can attempt to give you a ballpark cost estimate. However, there are many things I cannot control so there is never a guarantee.
